Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy applies to consumers in Washington State under the My Health My Data Act. It is provided by Torc Health Sàrl, which makes SageSpear.
What consumer health data we collect, and why
When you sign up for a free SageSpear place, we collect your email address and your country. Because SageSpear is about pregnancy, birth and the first year after birth, signing up may suggest that you, or someone close to you, is pregnant or has recently had a baby. We treat this information as consumer health data.
We use it only to reserve your place, to send you one email asking you to confirm, and to email you about the launch of SageSpear.
Where we get it
Directly from you, through the sign-up form on this website.
What we share, and with whom
We do not share consumer health data with any third party or affiliate.
Your rights and how to use them
You have the right to:
- confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it, including a list of any third parties and affiliates it has been shared with or sold to and a way to contact them;
- withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of your consumer health data;
- have your consumer health data deleted.
To make a request, email info@torchealth.com from the email address you signed up with, and say which right you want to use. We will confirm it is you, then respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you within those 45 days and may take up to 45 more. Requests are free up to twice a year.
You can also unsubscribe from any email we send, using the link at the bottom of it.
If we refuse your request
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision and asking us to reconsider. We will give you a written answer within 45 days. If we turn down your appeal, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
